Hi Kathy! We also have a corn recipe that has become a tradition in our family. We call it corn casserole. It came from my little sister's friend's parents, and it's such an easy and yummy recipe (con muffin mix, a couple cans of creamed & whole kernel corn, cream cheese, butter... that's it) that it's become my staple for pot-lucks. We always make it for thanksgiving. And, of course, then there's pumpkin pie. You gotta love pumpkin pie. ; )

Hi Kathy, I am enjoying your blog. We love the fall - in our home it is the start of the 'cooking' season - we spend many evenings in our kitchen making batches of soups and stews. This weekend, I made a batch of home made spices - roasted and ground cinnamon, cloves, cardamon and cumin. It is wonderful in a beef and potato stew - warms you up on a cool fall evening.
