the dukes ride again

Mark your calendars, folks: ‘The Dukes of Hazard a Guess’ will be making another appearance at the Junior League of San Jose’s third annual ‘Silicon Valley Trivia Challenge’! This year’s event is on Saturday, November 6th. Check-in is at 6pm for cocktails, dinnner, drawings and racing simulations (held once again at Club AutoSport in San Jose); the trivia contest begins at 7:30pm.

We will compete for the top prize of $1500 (last year we tied for 5th among 30 teams) although I am not sure about squeezing into that pair of Daisy Duke’s again. I feel I’m beginning to age in dog years…! We would love for you to support us; spectator tickets are $50 each (for food and seats, there is a cash bar). Last year, we had a big cheering section and we’d love an even larger group this time.

My friend, Dawn Bussey, is the co-chair and we want to help her raise even more money in 2010. JLSJ is a local philanthropic group that raises money for early parenting education, a cause very close to my heart.
