busy blogger
I know, I know… it’s been months since I last posted a blog entry. Bet you thought I was stuck in France this whole time. Nope! Only 4 days (ours was one of the first flights cancelled due to the volcanic ash). I’ll try to post some entries about the trip soon, especially the culinary highlights and what I brought back.
Today, however, is all about what’s outside my back door. Our July weather is so beautiful and we’ve been out gardening every day during the holiday weekend. I’ve been really inspired by my visits to Emily Joubert Home & Garden in Woodside (best client ever!) and wanted to share what I’ve been up to.
Do you ever go into a store and fall in love with practically everything on the display table? I do all the time and finally decided to take a stab at creating my own “vignette” to enjoy. I’m planning to leave it up all summer and just switch out flowers and accessories now and then. By the way, these stunning succulent candles and glass candle holder are from Emily Joubert if you decide you want your own set!
I will try to post more regularly again!

p.s. The green chargers and woven placemats are from Pottery Barn (1-2 years ago); the flowers are Oak Leaf and traditional hydrangea from our garden.
